MWIB Sponsorship Programs

It’s that time of year again to begin our fundraising efforts for next year’s MWIB Scholarship. This will be our third award year in which we will award two scholarships. This is possible through the efforts of our members and the generous support of our local community. Maricopa Women in Business (MWIB) was founded in July of 2005 with the intent to create an opportunity for entrepreneurial female business owners in the growing city of Maricopa to network, exchange ideas, and support the community. This intent is being realized by our current members. Our membership has doubled over the past year and our growth for 2008 will likely surpass that.
Our group’s mission statement is as follows:

Maricopa Women in Business is a nonprofit group. Our mission is to support the Maricopa community through group volunteerism and community service in order to make a positive impact on this growing region, while professionally helping each other to build our individual businesses through networking and the sharing of information and ideas.

The Scholarship Fund is our most important endeavor. Our members share the belief that through secondary education, goals can be reached and dreams fulfilled. Our efforts throughout the year focus on the importance of education and through our Scholarship we feel that we can make a difference. One of the most important parts of our fundraising efforts will be our yearly Fashion Show.  As a valued local business owner, we would be grateful if you would help us with our mission to promote our local high school seniors and our community by donating to endeavor. All donations are tax deductible (503c pending).
